This is what our moon looks like tonight following a day filled with an orange, smoky haze due to many fires in several places here in Washington state. I've never seen such a thing before. The air was really bad here today.

Try it BIG! :)
The sunset tonight was amazing. To accompany it we have the Beach Boys from their "Shut Down Volume 2" album all the way from 1964 with:
The Warmth of the Sun
or: The Warmth of the Sun
I thought I'd do something a little different for me since it goes so well with this photo that I found the other day. It is of my son and his buddies having band practice in our upstair's loft several years ago when they were all teenagers. My son is wearing a "Nirvana" tee shirt so I thought this song would work:
Nirvana Smells Like Teen Spirit
or here: Smells Like Teen Spirit
And just for fun (got the idea from Stefan): Weird Al - Smells Like Nirvana
(I actually like this song except for all the screaming. ;)
Just by chance I happened to plant some "Tullamore" tulips this year and they have some dew on them so I thought, wouldn't it be nice to add Dan Fogelberg's "Tullamore Dew" to this photo? I think so. Sometimes life is full of happy coincidences... :)
From his 1979 "Phoenix" album listen here for: Tullamore Dew

Here's my tribute to a group out of Denver, Colorado called Zephyr from their 1972 album "Sunset Ride" a tune called Moving to Fast
Candy Givens is on vocals and harmonica. Sadly lost to us from a drug overdose, but what a talent and so undercelebrated. I heard this back when I was 15 years old and I still love it. Women like this were so special and so rare so please enjoy! :)
