Mick reminded me recently of this movie that I just fell in love with back in 1976 (thanks, Mick :)

I think I saw it in the theater at least 4 times (back when theaters were big and beautiful. Remember that?) I thought Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson had such great chemistry on screen and I loved the soundtrack (love her so much.) I have no idea if I would like the movie now. I probably should watch it again.

That leads me to my song choice for which I will pair this "ever green" image. I'm not quite sure what I did to get this shot, but I kinda like it. It is of a maple tree.

Looks like a bit of ICM Karen most likely with a very slow shutter speed ... however you got there it works a treat! :)

Yep, ICM for sure :-) This is a very effective result. Like it very much. A perfect musical match and love the scene from the movie. I will admit to never watching this film so I think I should go out and purchase the DVD :-) Thanks very much for posting to 'Sight and Sound', Karen.

I need to watch this one again too, although there are several free scenes on YouTube.

Ooh it is like one of those magic images where you look hard and see something different. I can see a figure in this one (or maybe I just need my eyes tested! Lol!) A beautiful effect and a beautiful song to go with it. Always liked this one

She’s really so great, as well as an actor, as a musician, as a teacher and a producer ! :-)

I only saw her in „funny girl“ and in her production „the prince of tides“ after reading the book. I loved both films. Maybe I take a look at „a star is born“ now too. :-)

She really is an inspiring person. I saw "Prince of Tides" and loved it but have never seen "Funny Girl" yet. Everything I've ever seen her in is fantastic though. :)
