Soundtrack to Life

Soundtrack to Life
I always wanted to move to California when I was younger. This photo is from a trip there in 1979.

From John Mayall's "The Turning Point" live album recorded in concert at Filmore East in New York in 1969.

(If you like the saxophone, you might like this one.)

Cool photo, but way too many people there for me! :-)

Thank you. I wouldn't want to live there now either Norm. The poor state is either burning up or drowning in floods half the time. My dream to live there was back in the 70s. I just loved going there. It can be a slice of heaven.

My daughter really liked her visit to San Diego. I'm more of a Arizona and New Mexico fan.

I've never been to Arizona or New Mexico Norm. They do sound nice though. I have visited Colorado and Nevada and I like them both.

Colorado is nice once you get away from the tourist areas. Nevada is the same way! :-) I really liked Salida and Creede, Colorado. Las Vegas is a good place to fly into and get a cheap meal, but I didn't care for all the people there.

Wonderful composition, Karen! I have always wanted to visit California, but I would never want to live there. I have a thing against the ground moving under me, lol!

Thank you Val and I know what you mean. I feel the same way. Funny thing is though, nowadays we don't know what to expect anywhere, anymore. (I hope that made sense.)

A well put together combination for 'StoL', Karen. Love the presentation. Haven't heard this track until now :-) Very, very, good and mighty fine saxophone playing! Thanks for posting.
