At first glance I thought that was a snow scene! What beautiful pale sand.

Love the composition.

This picture reminded me of this legend:
The Bible says that God created the world in six days, but legend has it that while God was resting on the seventh, he suddenly discovered that he had completely forgotten to use one last handful of jewels that he had meant to place in some exotic area like the Caribbean. However, rather than break the Sabbath more than was necessary, he just opened a window in heaven and threw the jewels out without even looking to watch where they fell. The jewels became known as The Outer Hebrides. (Rather a truncated account - sorry to take up so much commenting space)

Take up all the commenting space you like. It's a lovely legend. Amazing how the colours remind one of the Caribbean even though the climate is so different.

The white sand and the little touch of blue water, along with the birds makes an interesting and beautiful beach scene.
