This kind of construction ("plaice" according to my dictionary....) is frequent on the Atlantic coast.
There, we are in the Gironde estuary (north of Bordeaux).
The nets are lowered overnight and then raised and all you have to do is take the fish trapped in the net !!!!
The inscription on the wooden building is most likely some kind of license plate with the name of the owner.
We were on vacation in this region.

Diese Fischerhütte befindet sich in der Mündung der Gironde (nördlich von Bordeaux).
Die Gezeiten sind sehr stark!
Dort ist es, glaube ich, Ebbe, aber bei Flut dominiert die Hütte immer noch deutlich den Wasserstand.
