They don't charge window tax any more, so how about reinstating those windows? It's the first thing I'd do. The building probably had windows on the (now rendered over) ground floor as well.

Yes, it looks as if they still charge window tax there.

But even if they don't, that corner house would look much better (and surely be much nicer to live in) with windows where there glaringly should be windows. The whole thing, as an attempt to look traditional, looks rather half-hearted. Unless that corner of Poundbury is the "affordable" housing, built down to a price.
