Oh wow, Charlie would love to go up in one of those balloons ... I on the other hand would be waving from the ground. lol ... Lady Lex is quite the balloon. :) I would like to see the festival in Taos ... They lift off at the bottom of the canyon at daybreak and it must be quite the experience to see them silently rise and appear at the top of the canyon. :)
Gives me the chills just thinking about that. Thanks for sharing this Norm.

I'm not sure what happened to Lady Lex. Her owner and pilot died and her family took the balloon ... though only one of them could fly it ... I :-) don't think it ever left the ground again. it's quiet and peaceful up there except when the burners fire ... and then it's a bit like standing under a jet!
