We call it Mares Tail or Horse Tail very difficult to get rid of if you have it in a garden

I didn't know the Mares Tail name! I love this plant as it has ancient roots (ha! maybe that's why it's difficult to get rid of if you don't want it) I first found it in my mother's woods. It hasn't shown up in my suburban yard yet.
