The Fountain Of Life
Located in historic New Harmony, Indiana, this fountain was erected to the memory of Jane Blaffer Owen’s daughter Carol, who died in 1979, at a young age. Carol’s Garden is a memorial garden and it was dedicated in 1982, and the Fountain of Life is the centerpiece of the garden and is open to the public. The garden was designed by Jane Blaffer Owen, Carol’s mother, and the peaceful fountain and its two accompanying benches were made with Indiana limestone by Sculptor David Rogers of Bloomington, Indiana.

For those of you who couldn't find a fountain near you, I did a little research and was amazed to find there were several fountains located near where I live that I had never heard about before. This week's SSC entry and the four other fountains below were some I had not heard of until this week.
This one is the Gray Cemetery Fountain. They didn't have the water running, but it was still a fountain:
Here's the Cathedral Labyrinth Fountain:
And lastly, the Roofless Church Fountain:
You have such a beautiful collection !! Happy Saturday !

Aufgenommen: Date: October 8th, 2019, 11.24 a.m.? 2019 Tippfehler?
Gudrun club has replied to Ingo Krehl clubIngo Krehl club has replied to Gudrun club"a stream of water that is forced up into the air through a small hole, especially for decorative effect, or the structure in a lake or pool from which this flows"

it's 10 years I took the elevatore to the top of the Gateway Arch - a great moment
I like fountains of all kinds and was very happy about this weekly theme.
