Do you remember that Christmas movie about the Red Ryder BB gun? I think it was called "A Christmas Story." Well, both of those rifles showing above the fireplace are that exact model of BB gun. I don't know that I'd want to display real rifles. That is, if I had any. (Ahem.)

In my old house, I had an 1870's black powder rifle displayed in the living room. But now that I am married in this house, the decor has changed somewhat :)

Oh yeah, we have that movie and we used to watch it every Christmas when our son was little. So funny! :D

Well, this just shows what I know about guns, lol, which is almost nothing (although my husband is very knowledgable on the subject.) I do like your room. It's very welcomming. :)

Very different from one of our British sitting rooms Haar. Looks dead cosy but the fire-power is a definite no-no here. Is that an artist tripod easel in the corner? Not many people about now with glass tubes in their TV's :) Looks incredibly tidy for a 'mans' place! In any event, it is always nice to see how folk in other countries live. Well done.
