Some mailboxes down the street from my house. This Yashica-44a is a TLR and it takes 4 cm. x 4cm. square images. From a 100 foot roll of expired Konica film, I cut down enough to make a roll. With some old backing paper, I respooled it and got 12 square images just like the original rolls used to have.

"It appears you have neighbors who don't take pride in their homes."

The mayor is always harping on me about my lawn and how it will bring down property values of the houses around me. However.... he doesn't seem concerned about this house right next to mine, and MY property values.

It was a no brainer for me. I just got the film during the week and was busting to try it out in my really good Yashica TLR. I was able to, 1. Test the film, 2. Cut down some to respool in a 127 camera for the first time as well, and 3. Use the Yashica, which takes square pictures, for this week's challenge.

You are right, the green one is the one down. Impressed with the making of too, and the amazing result, you make me feel so lazy with my analogic old best friends in a shelf, even a pinhole shoebox...

There are also such letterboxes with us, but they stand directly on the house property. Very nice motive and a well made picture for our Challenge.

A perfect find for the Challenge, Kenny. Love the light and the colour tones here. Great camera and developing work that has achieved a superbly detailed result.
