Friends

My Grandmother Lolove (Garrett) Wright and a friend on the left who was identified on the back of the picture as Ruth Montgomery. Since Lolove was born in 1903, this picture had to have been taken around 1910.

My Grandmother was born in a town with the picturesque-sounding name of Rising Sun, located at extreme Southeastern Illinois. It's near Maunie, Illinois, where her parents were from. I suspect she lived in Maunie as well and was only born in Rising Sun for medical reasons.
