This is me standing next to the cannon that used to sit here alongside Benton Lake. I was there again this past Saturday and found that they had moved it into Benton, near the square.

I've worn the same shirt I have on in this picture for every driver's license I've gotten since 1988. When I renew my driver's license in a couple weeks, it will be the 9th license in a row where I wear this same shirt. And they're issued for four year periods - that's 36 years!

As an update, I had to renew my driver's license again yesterday and I wore this same shirt again. Renewed on March 5th, 2024.
