I saw this 1957 Chevrolet Gasser and talked to the owner. He said there weren't many gassers around any more, and he was right. This one was primo. Taken at the Wayne County Misfits car show held on May 26th, 2018.

Water pre-soak: 1 minute at 102 degrees
Developer: 3 mins. and 30 secs. at 102 degrees
Water rinse: 2 minutes (to keep chemicals clean)
Blix: 6 ½ minutes at 102 degrees
Water rinse: 2 minutes at approx. 100 degrees
Stabilizer: 1 minute at room temperature
Water rinse: 2 minutes
Kodak Photo-Flo 200: 1 minute

An impressive looking car indeed. Sounds like one very lucky owner to have something so scarce. Some fascinating camera and developing info as well. I used to want to develop my own photos years ago, but just never had the space or knowledge, and then I became addicted to digital.

"Just never had the space." Do you have a kitchen sink? Then you have the space. The knowledge is the easy part! It's so rewarding to develop a roll of film and then see that uncut celluloid strip with lots of perfectly exposed images there in your hands!

I never knew that, I was still at home at the time, and knowing my mother, she wouldn't have taken kindly to me taking over the kitchen sink for any amount of time, haha! It was only shortly after I moved out that my partner (now husband) got a digital camera and we went from there.
I can imagine how rewarding it is to develop your own prints though.
