Zenit ET No. 1
This is an old Russian camera I picked up, made in 1984. It's fully manual and doesn't even use batteries. It has a selenium meter and you can use that to adjust the settings. Or employ the classic Sunny 16 rule. Personally, I use my digital camera as a light meter.

This Zenit ET is a Russian camera made in 1984. I got it last year and have already used it several times. It's solid and built like a tank and it doesn't even use batteries. I have an old Sears M42 screw mount lens on it for this picture. They made about 3 million of these, so they must have been popular.

Vanishing Susan

This is one of the last of the Black-Eyed Susans still hanging on in my yard. As a matter of fact, there were only two flowers in my yard this week, this one and a small rose, so there wasn't much in the way of flower subjects to choose from for the challenge this week. For the Saturday Self-Challenge group, whose theme this week was "Flowers Straight Out Of The Camera."
Taken with my Russian camera – a Zenit ET. It was taken to test my Sears 50mm prime lens on the Zenit body. Other than processing the film, there was no other post-processing used to get it to look like this - it's basically straight out of the camera, except for reducing the size for the internet. Unfortunately, I had to leave the bug bite holes in the leaves, as I wasn't allowed to clone them out.

Misty Night

Late one night down the street I live on. The lens I used for this picture was broken and only had one aperture - wide open. That's why it's not as sharp as I would have liked it to be. Plus, the focal point was off. The lens was basically in two pieces and I taped it together to be able to use it. That's probably what threw off the focus.
