N'RTHERN POINT,
John O'Groats, Caithness, Scotland,
Not the most northerly point on the mainland but the most northerly village!
The image does have a bench, but you may need to enlarge to view it!
HBM and a good week,
Quantock Autumn!
October on Somerset's Quantock Hills and a late afternoon walk in peace and quiet along the popular Lydeard hill ridge,
The fence is to keep free roaming ponies from the step drops into the Vale otherwise the area left as semi wild habitat.
A large view is probably best for detail and clarity!
A musical link from Mr Clapton, www.youtube.com/watch?v=npUK_dnv1VM
Shallow Water
A crew member holds the boat while the other crew member has walked ashore to fetch the tractor and trailer which is the only means of getting the boat on to dry land,
This is taken from the breakwater wall at Port Logan on the firth of Clyde, formerly Port Nessock, a small village in the parish of Kirkmaiden in the Rhins of Galloway in Wigtownshire. Scotland,
HWW to everyone!,,,,,, Large view perhaps !
Almost an Ex Bench!
Another view from Lydeard Hill looking across the Vale of Taunton Deane captured just as the light was beginning to fade and mist gathering.
Somerset Autumn
Colour in the trees and Bracken on the Quantock Hills in Somerset!,

Gentle Waves
A calm day as waters of the North Channel wash gently onto the shore at Machrihanish, on the Kintyre peninsula. (Just a few miles north of the Mull of Kintyre)
16.9 format so a large view would be appreciated !
Lunch at the Bottom Ship (pip)
An image from May 2012, This is the Bottom Ship Inn at Porlock Weir on the Somerset Coast,
(The Top Ship Inn is up the road in Porlock Village)
Benches galore outside this 13th century coaching Inn
The pip gives a flavour of the Weir at low tide
For the musical link a Somerset song from the late great Adge Cutler

HBM and a good week!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Large View if possible please!
Flying South.
A late afternoon image looking west across the Bristol Channel, Brean Down on the left and the Island of Steep Holm on the right, a distant Exmoor can just be seen rear left,
I prefer the image large!
