Astonishing how these proud, white birds can do this to themselves. It is just as disturbing as the graceful storks searching the rubbish dumps for food in their Spanish winter quarters.

Thank you Leon, something in the weed must have attracted them because they have come from all around the levels to feed, the area usually has only around twenty or thirty birds.
