It's nice to think of the English coastal path gradually developing. It will be quite an achievement. There has been talk of a Scottish coastal way and there are some coastal paths, Fife being one. However with at least 6000 miles of coastline I think its unlikely particularly on the wild west coast. Would be lovely though.

I thought it's name was - and is- the South West Peninsula Coast Path! A hallowed and truly well-respected name.
What is this all about?

Hi and thanks Andy, the South West path continues as is, the England Path is exactly what it says a path around the English Coast it does however incorporate existing walkways where it can, the section in the image is from Minehead where the sw path starts to Weston super mare via Bridgwater.
