We may still do it, but the original idea with this one was to take a roll of toilet paper and stage the sign with a newspaper and toilet paper around it. We may still do it, but forgot on this trip. There were actually two signs, but one is now missing, so we'll have to do it before this one disappears.

We have some friends on Flickr who featured "Wreck This Journal" in some of their photos. We'd never heard of it, but we investigated it online, it looked like fun, and I bought one for Kristin, not really sure whether she'd like it. It IS a lot of fun, according to Kristin, and she is already buying Journals for her friends.

Sign outside a local fast-food restaurant. Evidence of our failing South Carolina Educational System, perhaps?
I think either the employee here is very illiterate (and I'm assuming TAE is not some new beverage, but TEA), or that he/she suffers from dyslexia. Notice the forward-slash after "w" is backward as well, so maybe the person doing the sign does suffer from dyslexia.
I've thought about doing a whole series of mangled/unintelligible/misspelled/abandoned signs, but I'm not sure if I've got enough time. Its not that I would have to look for them, taking too much time, but there are so many that I don't know if I'd have enough time to take pictures of all of them. :)
The only game in town (DSC00175.JPG)

The only convenience/grocery store/gas station in the little town in which I live, which gives him a "monopoly" of sorts, I guess. The guy who owns the store is actually a pretty nice guy, and the prices are about what you'd expect to pay somewhere else. Smart thinking! (Why drive out of town to shop if the prices are the same?) Now, if he could just do this a few hundred more times, I'm sure he'd be very rich!

I almost bounced into this guy while leaving for work. His colors are so bright that I just couldn't tear down his web and leave him for the birds. Besides, maybe he'll keep away some of the pesky door-to-door salespeople. :)
