I almost bounced into this guy while leaving for work. His colors are so bright that I just couldn't tear down his web and leave him for the birds. Besides, maybe he'll keep away some of the pesky door-to-door salespeople. :)

We have some friends on Flickr who featured "Wreck This Journal" in some of their photos. We'd never heard of it, but we investigated it online, it looked like fun, and I bought one for Kristin, not really sure whether she'd like it. It IS a lot of fun, according to Kristin, and she is already buying Journals for her friends.
A little "friend" we ran across on an early evening stroll. We've seen a lot of snakes lately. We have an arrangement with them... we'll leave them alone as long as they leave us alone. lol
Mixed signals, lost opportunities, and an important sales lesson.
Opened or closed? Well, it turns out they were closed. And while I was preparing to take this picture, two different people walked up intending to buy something from this store. (It's really hard to sell something when you're not there.)
Brenham, Kolton, and Kristin. It's hard to believe Brenham and Kristin are related. Brenham is well over six feet tall, and Kristin stopped at 4 ft, 10 inches. Although Kristin is a couple of years older, it seems Brenham has been taller than she since a few years after birth.
We thought it really neat the way the trees and buildings were silhouetted against the setting sun. This photo didn't turn out too badly considering we were in a moving car and there was low light. Taken by Kristin on the way to our Christmas get together.
