The clues were sometimes hidden inside balloons, or either in, on, or under items in the back yard. Knowing which color balloon to pop, or which clue to read next was essential, since reading the wrong clue or popping the wrong balloon could send me on a wild goose chase or put me in an endless loop. The only way to find the right balloon or the right clue was to follow the instructions exactly. And to make it even harder, sometimes the clue would be a riddle I had to solve before knowing what to do next.
