We looked after these for a daughter for two years while she was in China teaching English. She has returned and has reclaimed 'our' small furry lawnmowers. Seen here resting in the middle part of the day. August 2016

I love Guinea Pigs

Call them Qwee Qwee's cos that the sound they make. The house train well to a little box too !

Thanks Pam. These two have never been house pets. My daughter acquired them from a guinea pig rescue place as adults. They lived at our place in a fixed cage with one side against the wall, two sides and the roof covered, and the door side with a canvas flap. Usually during the day we put them in a portable cage which was placed around the lawn so they had fresh grass. They are in it here, inside an old desk pc case which provide extra shelter and a dark place to hide when people walk passed or neighbouring cats 'visit'.
