For about a fortnight this spider constructed a web metres across in a location which could be lit by an eave-mounted light and for few nights had the moon in a suitable position to be included. After around 80 shots this was the best, lit by the camera's flash. The time exposures all had the spider moving in any puff of breeze, and the DOF and the focal length needed to get the moon and the spider to the same proportion as my visual perception just couldn't be done, well not with my gear anyway.
