This is a wonderful book with an unusual teaching concept. Starting from a pre-college level the book digs deep enough into mathematics, but not deeper than necessary.

To some readers the teaching style and those anime-like characters may seem to bit a little bit too childish. But that doesn't mean that the autors don't take their readers serious.

Planck units are not addressed in the book, but keep in mind, that some complications in learning physics are caused by the historical development of the units used in physics. For a long time many "constants" (including the constants based on Plancks findings') crept into physics in order to connect the different old units to each other. Planck units would make thigs even simpler as they are persented in What is Quantum Mechanics?, which is an excellent textbook nevertheless. (And, admittingly, using units always help to check, whether a formula make sense.)
