Road to Morocco
Section of design on a Moroccan pouf which I bought in a bazaar in 1973, when staying at Camp Africa in Asilah, south of Tangiers.
Morocco is known for amazing handmade textiles. The pouffe is a round, stuffed ottoman and a beautiful and functional example of a traditional Moroccan craft. They can be found in a rainbow of colors including metallics, sometimes ornately embroidered, and generally constructed of leather.
