Rare Arctic Lorikeet
First attempt at cutting out an image using GIMP 2. Wouldn't do this often, very fiddly and time consuming, but fascinating results :-)

My Rainbow Lorikeet image, taken 2013 (in note), with a background crop of the Snowman Christmas scene.

This is great. I love that colourful bird. I've never tried Gimp and never been very successful when I have tried to do this kind of thing in other programmes.
