John FitzGerald club has replied to John Sheldon clubI didn't have any special fondness for geometry in school, but no distaste either. I also had no talent, so I dropped math before getting to trigonometry. Then I spent my working life doing inferential statistical analysis. Maybe principal components analysis appealed to me because it was like doodling in multi-dimensional space. That is essentially what PCA is. I think I'm getting too pseudo-intellectual here and will stop, but thanks for getting me to think about this.
