Die Jet d'eau am Étang de l'Olivier in Istres erreicht eine Rekordhöhe von 50 Metern. Sie ist damit die höchste Fontaine in Frankreichs. Die Pumpe dafür leistet 92kW. Nachts wirdd die Fontaine von 8 weißen Scheinwerfern beleuchtet. Weitere 6 Scheinwerfer, die auf Schwimmern gelagert sind, werfen abwechselnd rotes, blaues oder grünes Licht auf sie. Die gesamte Edelstahlkonstruktion zur Befestigung im See ist 6m breit und wiegt 2,2 Tonnen.
