Das Hauptportal der Promenade du Peyrou wird von zwei Löwenskulpturen von Jean-Antoine Injalbert bewacht. Sie heißen: Die Liebe zähmt die Macht und Die Macht zähmt die Liebe. Hier im Bild ist das Erstere zu sehen. Der kleine Engel, der den Löwen zähmt steht nicht sichtbar hinter seinem Rücken. Im Hintergrund ist das Meter hohe Croix du Peyrou zu sehen.
