Brücke im Marmorbruch

Brücke im Marmorbruch
Seit 130 Jahren stehen in den Marmorabbaugebiet bei Carrara die Ponti di Vara. Auf ihr führte bis in 60er Jahre eine Eisenbahnlinie hinab zum Hafen von Marina di Carrara. Die Marmorblöcke wurden damals auf der Schiene abtransportiert. Seit nun mehr als 50 Jahren erledigen kräftige LKW diese Transportaufgabe.

Da gebe ich dir Recht, aber ohne die angefressenen Berge gäbe es auch keine Brücke. ;-)
