Young mallard
I took my new 150-600 Tamron lens to a small dammed river to test it on birds. Fortunately for me, most of the birds were either stationary or were moving very slowly since I was used to panning with a lens of this size. I used a monopod with a ball head to (somewhat) steady the lens.
