Ruines de l'abbaye Notre-Dame du Lys, Dammarie-les-Lys
= FR = L'ancienne abbaye royale Notre-Dame du Lys est une abbaye cistercienne de moniales fondée par Blanche de Castille et par Louis IX en 1244. Elle se situe sur la commune de Dammarie-lès-Lys (77190). Livrée aux pillages, transformée en enclos à bœufs à la Révolution, puis vendue comme ruine romantique à un Suisse en 1797, l'abbaye a été classée Monument historique par arrêté du 30 décembre 1930.
= EN = The former royal abbey Notre-Dame du Lys is a Cistercian abbey of nuns founded by Blanche de Castille and Louis IX in 1244. It is located in the town of Dammarie-Lès-Lys (77190). Destroyed by the plunders, transformed into oxen enclosure at the Revolution, then sold as a romantic ruin to a Swiss in 1797, the abbey was classified Historic Monument by decree of December 30, 1930
