Very ancient Wall, another stone with many corners.

Very ancient Wall, another stone with many corners.
An old part of a Pre-Inca wall, with many corners. Can you count them? Taken with the Hasselblad 500C and a normal lense.

Ulrich John, trester88, Wierd Folkersma, Diana Australis and 17 other people have particularly liked this photo

Is your Hasselblad still working? Did you see this: www.digitalcameraworld.com/reviews/hasselblad-907x-and-cfv-100c-review

No. Imagine , Nicolas, I gave it away, with two backs and three lenses! Your link is very tempting! But as I don´t travel anymore, it will stay a dream. Are you working with it?

Wow! The Hasselblad was always very expensive, but in the analog time, worth it.

A stone with many corners must be a corner stone ;-)

It should be, but as you can see, it is in the middle of a wall.

That's just fine as the corner stone is not necessarily a stone in a corner, it's also the foundation stone of a building, in German: Grundstein.

Interesting, isn´t it, how different languages have different ideas behind them.

You're right, Eva. With each new language, you also learn a new way of thinking. And a new world opens up to you because, as you said, different languages have different ideas behind them :-)

This many cornered stone is not very well known. It is outside of the city of Cuzco , and our guide showed it to us, as he noticed we were not the usual touristy tourists.

schon beeindruckend, wie die Leute den Stein passend behauen haben, um ihn in die Mauer einzubinden....
