Cologne Fastnachtsbrunnen / Carnival fountain (#0560)

According to a friend in Berlin, Carnival Fountains, or Fools Fountains (Fastnachtsbrunnen) are common throughout Germany (see the Wikipedia link). This one, at Gülichplatz in Cologne, was erected in 1913. If you zoom in on the base, you can see that it shows couples in amorous stances, with a naked, drum-beating, pipe-smoking cherub at the top.
