Cologne Hohenzollernbrücke genocide of Roma (#0522)
"Mai 1940 – 1000 Roma und Sinti"
Such is marked the trail of 1500 Roma and Sinti (colloquially referred to as gypsies) who were moved in May, 1940 from a prison camp on this side of the river, to a train station on the other side of the river, for deportation and, for 1000, to an extermination camp.
