Edinburgh Firth of Forth rail bridge (#1153)
As I mentioned in a preview picture I posted month’s ago, a key point that I wanted to see while in Edinburgh was the Firth of Forth rail bridge -- but that finding out how to get to it was not easy. Somehow I finally found some directions to take a train to Dalmeny (this station) and then follow a mostly unpaved path and then steps that paralleled the rail line. The path wasn’t easy to find, but it turned out to be a nice walk through woods.

Well.... it was late November, I had been forewarned to expect this. It was generally navigable -- and it kept sights from being spoiled by too many tourists :)
