London Chelsea Waterfront / Chelsea Ram (#0169)
Just a block from the developments of Chelsea Waterfront, some of the streets of the Chelsea of the past, including the Chelsea Ram, a pub/restaurant. The Chelsea area has a long history of being a relatively affluent area, as well as being an artists/bohemian quarter, then a ‘swinging’ neighborhood in the 1960’s including home to the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and the ‘Chelsea Girl’ -- and gentrifying every since. In the era of Brexit, a neighborhood that is probably the epitome of the ‘urban elite’ that is characterized in the language of social divisions.
