London Chelsea Waterfront development (#0165)

London Chelsea Waterfront development (#0165)
Continuing from what I had posted some time back in my preview of this trip (see: www.flickr.com/photos/donbrr/32623890388 ), a few more photos from around Chelsea Waterfront development. The tower under construction on the left side of this photo is Chelsea Waterfront West Tower, 37 stories of luxury housing. The building with the tall smokestacks is, as noted before, the Metropolitan Building/Lots Road power station, built in 1904 and being converted into 193 apartments, with a ground floor of retail space. The red brick (glazed) building on the left side of the picture is a London County Council pumping station (see adjacent picture).
