The tunnel provides access to trails on the north side of the reservoir. I was considering hiking to Wapama falls, but hadn't brought light or waders for the tunnel, so didn't.

Actually, I felt like I was being a little bit too wimpy, but if I'd gone through then I'd be hiking in the rain and with wet shoes, so decided against it.
