Baker, NV, at dusk. Baker is the nearest town next to Great Basin National Park. There were two restaurants here and another one just up the road. One night, only one of the restaurants was open -- and this was during the busy summer season.

It's too bad there aren't more "remote places tourists" in that part of the country. I guess people don't think of it - it's all about Las Vegas. On the other hand, the Great Basin is pretty daunting.
