I know Death Valley itself was hit by some vicious floods a month or two ago. Was that widespread enough to have affected this area, or was it contained to the valley itself?

There was some flooding along the Amargosa river which will be coming up in some pictures in a few days, and there were some spots of standing water on the playa while I was there, but nothing like what happened in Death Valley. Pahrump and LV both also had some flooding.
