The placard describes circumstance that I had not heard – FDR's racists beliefs about the Japanese dating back to 1925, or his discussions of creating concentration camps as early as 1936, even though in 1941 an appointee of Roosevelt and the US military determined that Japanese Americans were not a threat to the country. The placard also raises concerns that this could happen again.
