Picture of the "Colossal Cavemen" in the museum. In the larger picture you can see the detail and that, at least in this picture, the CCC seemed to be integrated. Per this link, camps started out as integrated but were segregated in 1935, the year before this picture was taken: (http://newdeal.feri.org/aaccc/). Colossal Cave is a Pima County park located about 20 miles southeast of Tucson. While the park is famous for its cave, it is also famous for much of the park having been built by the CCC -- which is the main reason I went to visit.
