Thursday 31 October 1995 – A misty morning in Ieper with two Van Hool built vehicles. A bus of De Lijn contractor Katriva NV passes a visiting coach of Galloway European from England. The Katriva bus is 304116 (LKE 494), a Van Hool A120 bodied Volvo B10R-55 new in November 1986, which was working De Lijn service 745 from or to Roeselare . The Galloway coach is 5516 PP, a Van Hool Alizee bodied DAF SB3000, which was new to London Coaches (DV54) in April 1989 registered F524 RJX. London Coaches was the coaching unit of London Buses at that time.

Thursday 12 May 1994 - Galloway European Coachlines 4092 PP seen in Bury Road, Newmarket. It is a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied DAF SB2300 that had been new to Smith’s Coaches of Alcester in April 1985 registered B885 AJX.

Sunday 16 July 1989 (approx. 1440) – Sunday 30 April 1989 saw the launch, by National Express, of a brand of short haul services radiating from London marketed as ‘London’Express’. The livery featured green rather than blue used on the mainstream National Express coaches. Galloway European Coachlines of Mendlesham, Suffolk F886 SRT, was a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied DAF SB2305 new in April 1985 was seen at Stowmarket in Suffolk on what was service 872. It had arrived on the 1100 service from London (due 1435) and was returning on the 1445 departure back to the capital.

Saturday 12 November 2011 (1004) - Galloway European Coachlines 134 (1482 PP ex N665 JGV) is an Ikarus Citibus bodied DAF SB220 new to the company in August 1995. It was seen here unloading in St Andrew’s Street North, Bury St Edmunds after working the 0850 service 384 from Stowmarket.

Wednesday 29 June 2011 - Galloway European Coachlines 188 (1440 PP), a UVG Compass (originally a Caetano design) bodied Dennis Dart new in March 1997 to Marchwood Motorways, Totton registered R558 UOT. Wednesday is market day in Bury St Edmunds and service 320 operates from the unusually named town of Eye at 0930 returning from Bury at 1325, a 70 minute journey via quite a number of different villages.

Saturday 19 July 2014 (1349) - Galloway Coach Travel 188 (1440 PP), a UVG Compass bodied Dennis Dart SLF new in August 1997 to Marchwood Motorways, Totton, Hampshire registered R558 UOT. The bus features a smaller style electronic destination indicator. It was seen backing off the loading stand in Bury St Edmunds bus station bound for Stowmarket on the 1330 service 385 an infrequent variant of the main 384 service serving Norton and Old Newton rather than Beyton. It must have been running late.

Wednesday 15 October 2008 (1139) - Galloway European Coachlines Limited of Mendlesham 207 (5611 PP), an Ikarus Blue Danube bodied DAF SB4000, parked in Bury St Edmunds bus station between trips on a market day service. It was new to London Coaches (Kent) in April 1997 registered P157 RWR.

Wednesday 6 January 2010 (1226) – Snow started to fall in Bury St Edmunds around mid-day and within a short time the roads were covered. Galloway European Coachlines 227 (AY05 KVF), a Wright Cadet bodied VDL SB120, in St Andrew’s Street North leaving as the 1225 service 384 to Stowmarket.

Saturday 25 April 2009 (1127 hrs) – The new shopping centre in Bury St Edmunds (The Arc on the left) opened for business on 5 March and St Andrew’s Street South made pedestrianised making it a quite a challenge for bus drivers. Galloway 227 (AY05 KVF), a Wright bodied VDL new in August 2005, was working the 1125 service 384 to Stowmarket. (Plaxton bodied Dennis Darts of First Eastern Counties: 47208 (M208 VWW) on left, 42551 (S551 WAT) approaching).

Wednesday 26 May 2010 (0907) – Galloway European Coachlines 227 (AY05 KVF), a Wright Cadet bodied VDL SB120 new in August 2005, seen parked at Bury St Edmunds before working was working service 385 to Stowmarket.

Saturday 29 May 2010 (0854) – Galloway European Coachlines 244 (YR02 ZYL) is a Wright bodied Scania new in April 2002 to Anglian Bus and Coach of Beccles. Seen at Bury St Edmunds bus station.

Wednesday 15 July 2009 (0900) – Galloway European Coachlines 258 (1754 PP), a Wright Cadet bodied DAF SB120. (new as Y294 HUA in April 2001 to Teamdeck, Honley (K-Line)?). Parked in Bury St Edmunds bus station layover bays prior to working the 0925 service 385 to Stowmarket via Thurston and Elmswell.
