Whippet Coaches (Flixbus contractor) FX42 (OY23 CYT) in Cambridge - 9 Feb 2024 (P1170308)

Friday 9 February 2024 (1000) - Whippet Coaches FX42 (OY23 CYT), a Neoplan Tourliner new in July 2023, seen arriving at Drummer Street bus station. This display shows ‘006 Cambridge’ scrolling ‘Finchley Road, Stevenage’ although it also carried an ‘X3’ label in the windscreen.

The electric bus already on stand is Whippet Coaches BV72 KPF, a Volvo BZL with MCV bodywork which began demonstration work in early 2023 (possibly on loan?). It was bound for St. Neots via Comberton and Bourn on service 18.
