Wednesday 19 April 2023 (1525) – Arriva Midlands North 2144 (MX12 JXF), is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200D new in June 2012 allocated to Telford garage.

It was seen on Wharfage in Ironbridge when working the 1440 service 8 from Bridgnorth (Low Town) to Telford.

In the background is the world’s first bridge constructed from iron erected in 1779 to span the River Severn. It has given the town of Ironbridge its name. Abraham Darby pioneered the smelting process at his foundries in nearby Coalbrookdale using coke and thereafter the use of cast iron became widely used in the building of bridges, aqueducts and buildings.
