Tate’s Coaches NN16 VSN and Grant Palmer 707 (BU51 WAY ) in Luton - 14 Apr 2023 (P1140974)

Friday 14 April 2023 (1054) – Some drivers don’t mind being caught on camera. A friendly smile from the driver of Tate’s Coaches NN16 VSN seen arriving at the Luton Interchange.

The coach is an Irizar i6 that had been new to Huyton Mini Coaches of Widnes in June 2016.

Tate’s Coaches once based at Markyate (when family run) is now based in Luton after a change of ownership.

Parked on the left is Grant Palmer Passenger Services 707 (BU51 WAY), a Volvo B7TL new to Go Ahead London Central in March 2006 registered LX06 EAW. Creatively Grant Palmer has applied registrations containing the letters BU5 and WAY to some of its vehicles operating on the Luton-Dunstable Busway network.
