Simmonds Coaches of Hillingdon LUY 312N at Barton Mills Picnic Area (A1065) – 3 Jul 1993 (199-32)

Saturday 3 July 1993 – The picnic area on the A1065 very close to Fiveways roundabout at Barton Mills became very popular with coaches travelling along the A11 particularly with the demise of the cafes at Red Lodge closed after the by-pass was opened.

Simmonds Coaches of Hillingdon LUY 312N, a Duple Dominant I bodied Volvo new in 1974/1975, was possibly heading to Walsingham.

In the background is Seamarks Coach and Travel of Luton 199 (9569 KM), a Kassbohrer-Setra S215HR new in 1984 (registered A531 STM) along with a coach of Soul Brothers of Olney.
