Kiddle’s Coaches of St. Ives UHJ 797Y (PTX 332Y, 9424 RU) – 8 Apr 1996 (306-17)

Easter Monday 8 April 1996 – Kiddle’s Coaches of St. Ives, Cambridgeshire UHJ 797Y seen at the garage in the centre of St. Ives.

It is a Plaxton Supreme VI bodied Bedford YNT which was new to Thomas Coaches, Clydach Vale, South Wales in August 1982 registered PTX 332Y. It was later sold to County Coaches of Brentwood where it was re-registered as 9424 RU. County retianed that registration when they sold the coach and it became UHJ 797Y.

In later years when a vehicle was re-registered like this the original registration number came back into use rather than a new number being assigned.
