An Eastern Counties ‘Norfolk Flyer’ coach on the A11 between Barton Mills and Elveden – 15 Jul 1984 (X841-15)

Sunday 15 July 1984 – One of the Eastern Counties ‘Norfolk Flyer’ liveried Leyland Tigers a little way east of Fiveways, Barton Mills heading for Norwich on the 1020 National Express service 099 from London. The road ahead climbs quite sharply for a short distance at this point.

The coach was one of eight Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Leyland Tigers new in February 1983 that wore the ‘Norfolk Flyer’ livery to operate services between Norfolk and London. They passed to Ambassador Travel when ECOC was split up in September 1984.
